MAB26 seeks papers from academics, students, and industry practitioners that align with the themes described below. The paper contributions should address current practices, discuss theoretical approaches, or present novel research that explores and further develops our understanding of media architecture through relevant case studies, design processes, and community and industry examples. The official proceedings will be published during MAB26, and presentations will feature a hybrid format of both online and on-site sessions.

The Media Architecture Biennale (MAB) track welcomes contributions on a wide range of topics relating to ‘Co-designing the City’

Papers submitted by the due date will undergo a double-anonymous peer-review process and will be evaluated on the basis of their significance, innovation, academic rigor, and clarity. To ensure a robust review process, at least two positive reviews (out of three) are required for a paper to be approved. Additionally, all submissions will be checked for plagiarism using the iThenticate tool.
Important note to authors about ACM’s new open access publishing model
ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program and do not qualify for a full geographic waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library.
